Glad to inform you all that, despite of several difficulties due to covid 19 pandemic, relentless efforts by our team have enabled us to deliver our worm planetary drives to esteemed organization “NLC India”. After passing rigorous third party inspection tests our product has been abled to meet all the functional and quality requirements specified by the client.
This worm planetary drive is designed for its intended use in crawler application of bucket wheel reclaimer used in dusty, mudy and harsh environment. The loading conditions are very uneven for this kind of applications. Output with full complentery Roller bearings takes care of high radial loads. The input to gearbox is worm and worm wheel to take care of 90o transmission of electric motor. The worm shaft is designed to have two ended inputs so that it can be used as either LH or RH. Internal sun and planetary gears are made up of high nickel chrome steel case hardened and ground to DIN 6. Internal gears are 42CrMnO4 forged and hardened nitrided which along with modified involute profile takes care of high torque transmitting and loading capacity resulting into long life. The gearbox is mounted with the torque arm which takes care of misalignments of the mountings too.
